property developer and investor Barberry Industrial has commenced construction of its £17 million best in class warehouse development at Quinton Business Park, in Birmingham, following strong interest from potential occupiers.\n\nThe 78,335 sq ft distribution and manufacturing facility, known as Barberry Midbox 78, is being delivered as a market leading mid-box unit targeting high sustainability and operational standards.\n\nBarberry has appointed main contractor Caddick which has now started work on site, with the scheme scheduled for completion in January 2027. \n\nThe building will be delivered to an institutional specification, targeting EPC A and BREEAM Excellent, and will incorporate a range of ESG-led features including electric vehicle charging infrastructure, rooftop solar PV, and landscaped external areas with dedicated wildlife walkways.\n\nBarberry Development Director Jonathan Robinson said: \n\n>“Breaking ground at Midbox 78 marks an important milestone for this scheme and reflects our confidence in the continued strength of the mid-box industrial sector.
