Construction has ramped up work to deliver the second phase of Farington Park in Lancashire on behalf of Caddick Developments, with the steel frame progressing on the 96,000 sq ft industrial development.\n\nWork on site has advanced significantly, with Caddick Construction progressing the four detached units following delivery of the industrial park's 544,000 sq ft first phase, which became Victorian Plumbing's North West logistics hub, having reached completion by Caddick in 2023.\n\nFunded by Arrow Capital Partners and Cerberus Capital Management, the new units form the final phase of Caddick Developments' 50-acre Farington Park in Leyland, designed to meet increasing demand for mid-box industrial and logistics space in the North West market.\n\nThe new units range from 14,750 sq ft to 33,000 sq ft and will be designed to achieve BREEAM Excellent and EPC A ratings. Caddick have also invested around £1,000,000 in local ecology and community assets.\n\nThis includes a seven-acre park, upgrades to public rights of way, outdoor gym facilities, walking paths, cycle storage and EV charging stations.
