The Caddick Construction team, which is delivering a new teaching facility on the Openshaw Campus of The Manchester College, took the opportunity to visit the Mustard Tree charity in Ancoats last week.
The charity offers a helping hand to those facing the impossible choice between paying a bill or putting a meal on the table. Caddick Construction was impressed with the help they offer those struggling to make ends meet through the Food Club, shops, clothing, and furniture bank, as well as skills and training.
As a result, the company is giving a helping hand through donations to its Food Club and aims to work with the Mustard Tree team on skills workshops post lockdown.
Michelle Swarbrick, the NW Framework Scholarship Manager at Caddick Construction, said: “The Mustard Tree is doing fantastic work helping those who need it most, whether this is feeding the family or accessing new skills and job opportunities. We are delighted to be able to make a donation to help the charity’s essential work, particularly as we come into the challenging winter season.”
