A Yorkshire construction site managed by Knottingley-based business, Caddick Construction has been recognised at the Considerate Constructors Scheme’s National Site Awards.
A new Evans Halshaw Hyundai dealership, located on the corner of Gelderd Road and Lowfields Road in Leeds, was handed a silver award at a ceremony at Manchester’s Lowry Hotel.
These prestigious awards are handed to the top performing registered construction sites that demonstrate high scores under the scheme’s four-point code of considerate practice: care about appearance, respect the community, protect the environment and secure everyone’s safety.
The firm has been recognised by the awards in previous years for its commitment to the principles outlined by the scheme. Last year, the firm won bronze awards for the £100m prime distribution and logistics scheme, Crosspoint33 and an eco-friendly Vauxhall garage in Leeds, as well as a silver award for Felling Shopping Centre in Gateshead.
Andrew Murray, Managing Director at Caddick Construction, comments: “We are immensely proud of our project teams so it’s fantastic to see them recognised in this way. We have a number of Yorkshire projects in the pipeline at the moment and all of our stakeholders will benefit from the same level of care and conscientiousness.”
