Caddick Construction was awarded the contract by EBW Developments Limited following the collapse of Marcus Worthington Group.
The complex is made up of 283 en-suite bedrooms in shared apartments with each catering for between 4 and 16 students. The development also contains 19 self-contained studios. The development offers 302 student rooms with some specifically designed for students with disabilities.
The apartments utilise bathroom pods, which means they were constructed off-site, but lifted into position complete with shower, toilet, and sink.
