Caddick were awarded the contract to design and build The Manchester College’s Openshaw Campus as part of the college’s wider estate strategy to embed facilities across the city region and respond to the ever-changing education and training markets.
The contract covered the design and build of a new sports facility and construction curriculum facility, refurbishment and remodeling of an existing workshop space to form a new construction facility, refurbishment, and remodeling of existing classrooms/ workshops space to form new engineering and motor vehicle curriculum delivery space and refurbishment of select areas of the existing Whitworth House building to provide new teaching and staff accommodation.
