Base Building, Manchester

The works involved the construction of a 91,000 sq ft purpose-built six storey (including a mezzanine storey) commercial property at Manchester Science Park to provide workspace specifically designed for companies working in high growth, frontier sectors of industry 4.0, low carbon, computer, and energy technology, gaming, and animation. 

The building has piled foundations with the main building construction being of structural steel and precast concrete units to make the individual floors. 

External works consisted of hard and soft landscaping and car parking areas surrounding the building.
