Ferrars Road, Sheffield

Together Housing Association appointed Caddick to design and construct the new affordable housing development in Tinsley, Sheffield. The six-acre development on Ferrars Road comprised 93 homes, including 19 two-bedroom houses, 70 three-bedroom houses and 4 four-bedroom dwellings.

The new homes feature traditional architectural elements externally and are characterised by energy-efficient, modern interiors.

The scheme included all associated external works, roads,  drainage, new incoming services and a landscaped open space with ponds and public art.

The project was phased with the first homes released to residents in 2023. Ferrars Road has helped to deliver high-quality housing for those wishing to get on the property ladder and put down permanent roots in the area.
