Caddick has completed the design and construction of a new residential apartment scheme on behalf of Wakefield District Housing.
The site on Stuart Road, Pontefract previously housed a fire station and has now been identified as a gateway to the town and will create high quality, contemporary homes which reflect the industrial heritage of Pontefract.
The scheme comprises of a 3-storey block of 37 individual one and two-bedroomed apartments accessed via a communal area and available for affordable rent.
The development features external lighting with EV charging points available in the car park.
External works included all associated works, roads, drainage, and incoming services.
The scheme formed part of the delivery of Wakefield Council’s Reconnecting Pontefract Masterplan, which includes proposals for the redevelopment of priority areas around Pontefract town centre.
