Soothill Residential Development, Batley

Caddick Civil Engineering has secured the contract from Keepmoat Homes for the Soothill, Batley residential development. The project encompasses the creation of 3 and 4-bedroom homes with great amenities and convenient access to Leeds and Wakefield. Each home will boast a turfed rear garden and 6ft boundary fencing, integrating innovative energy-efficient design to promote reduced living costs and a diminished carbon footprint.

Scope of Work

To ensure the safety and sustainability of the development, Caddick Civil Engineering are undertaking comprehensive site remediation works, including:

• Grouting of mine workings
• Shaft capping
• Bulk earthworks for terrain stabilisation
• Installation of retaining structures to manage elevation changes.
• Construction of a robust drainage system with a 3000m3 attenuation capacity
• Construction of new roads for improved accessibility and connectivity
