Our Moor Park 25, Phase 2 site has donated £560 to Hollybank Trust in Mirfield for specially adapted nursery equipment for the charity's school which provides education for children and young people with profound and multiple disabilities.
Hollybank Trust provides teaching, residential care, along with a range of therapies and enrichment activities for children, young people and adults with profound and multiple disabilities. The support they offer to parents and families begins from the child’s first diagnosis and continues well beyond their school life into adulthood.
Hollybank’s Community Ambassador John Howard added: “We’re really grateful to Caddick for choosing to support our nursery. Many of our children are wheelchair users, so the donation will be funding some accessible equipment to make it easier for them to get involved in gardening activities and enhance the quality of their learning. Our children love being outside, and this equipment will really help us put smiles on their faces.”
