Caddick Appointed To Royal London Asset Management’s Satellite Park Development In Middleton

Royal London Asset Management Property has named Caddick Construction as principal contractor to deliver a new industrial development at Satellite Park in Middleton, Greater Manchester.

Caddick Construction has been awarded a £25m contract to build two new high-quality industrial units alongside extensive external works, supporting Royal London Asset Management’s investment in strengthening the industrial and logistics offering in the North West.

Located on Greengate in Middleton, the new 14-acre development will provide modern warehouse and manufacturing space targeting BREEAM Outstanding, and is designed to meet the needs of businesses looking for industrial accommodation in a well-established commercial area.

Due to complete in summer 2027, the project will also see Caddick deliver surrounding external works, including the installation of over 300 car parking spaces, with a number fitted with electrical car charging points, to accompany the two new structures.

The appointment adds to Caddick’s growing portfolio of industrial and logistics projects in the North West, which includes the delivery of Tawd Valley Developments’ £14m Junction 4 development, with 45 new business units being constructed at White Moss Business Park.

Caddick Construction is also set to build four industrial units totaling 96,000 sq ft at Farington Park in Leyland on behalf of sister company Caddick Developments, adding to the 544,000 sq ft BREEAM Excellent logistics hub delivered as part of the scheme’s first phase.

Dave Saville, Regional Managing Director of Caddick Construction North West commented:
