Caddick Continues Framework Growth With YORbuild Appointment

Caddick Construction has been appointed to the latest round of YORBuild’s procurement framework for projects valued between £10m and £30m, marking the first time the contractor has joined the £1.5bn YORbuild Major Works 2 Framework.

The appointment has seen Caddick Construction secure a position on the £600m Lot 1 of YORbuild’s latest Major Works Framework, which will enable the procurement of public sector works across Yorkshire and the Humber, the North East and large parts of the East Midlands.

Becoming the first time Caddick Construction has joined the Major Works Framework, the appointment will broaden the contractor’s public sector project portfolio as it continues on its path of sustainable growth across key regions.

Extensively used by local authorities, health, education and blue light bodies, YORbuild’s Major Works Framework enables the efficient procurement of construction works with an emphasis on social value, low carbon delivery and modern methods of construction.

The position adds to Caddick’s growing presence on a range of public sector procurement frameworks. Recently this also included its appointment to four lots of the Department for Education’s (DfE) new £15bn Construction Framework 2025.

Paul Dodsworth, Group Managing Director of Caddick Construction Group, commented:

"Our appointment to the YORbuild Major Works 2 Framework marks an important milestone for Caddick Construction and reflects the strength of our growing reputation in the public sector. As our first appointment to a YORbuild Major Works Framework, this gives us an excellent opportunity to build on our proven track record of delivering high-quality, sustainable projects that create lasting value.

"Public sector investment continues to play a vital role in shaping the future, and we are proud to be recognised as a trusted delivery partner capable of supporting these ambitions. The framework's strong focus on social value, low-carbon construction and modern methods of delivery closely aligns with our own business values and long-term approach. We look forward to working with our framework partners at YORbuild and public sector clients to deliver projects that make a meaningful difference to the people and places they serve."
