Caddick Construction is set to grow its housing pipeline with its appointment to Prosper’s £500m New Build Development Framework, with lots covering Yorkshire, the North East, North West and East & West Midlands.
The appointment has seen Caddick secure a position on five* lots covering both construction and associated design services across all areas of operation in the North and Midlands. The framework is set to run for four years.
Launched by procurement consortium, Prosper, the landlord-led framework has been developed in partnership with Believe Housing, Gentoo and Karbon Homes to bring in the practical experience of the housing providers’ development teams.
The framework is primarily designed to drive construction of new homes, and will also cover additional public sector works. These include refurbishments and extensions, community buildings, education and healthcare.
Caddick’s appointment adds to its growing presence on a range of public sector procurement frameworks. These include the NEPO Construction Works Framework, which covers a range of public sector works for contracting authorities in the North East.
Paul Dodsworth, Group Managing Director of Caddick Construction Group, commented:
“The procurement of all public sector works benefits from the efficiency and expertise made possible through frameworks, and this is especially valuable for residential investment given the Government’s ambitious UK housing targets. Frameworks enable development to be fast-tracked without a compromise to quality, all while ensuring building works bring positive change to communities through social value. We’re proud to have secured a position on Prosper’s new development framework.”Paul Dodsworth, Group Managing Director of Caddick Construction Group
