Caddick Construction is increasing its operational capacity in the Midlands with a move to larger office space within its Northspring location in Birmingham, reinforcing its commitment to the region.
The move has seen Caddick Construction upgrade to a 2,590 sq ft space at Temple Street from its former 900 sq ft office in the same building, which launched in 2023 with a small team of just 10.
Now home to a team of over 80, the new office has seen Caddick increase its desk capacity by almost 80%, also adding a third meeting room, providing the infrastructure needed to support the business’ accelerating growth.
The move comes as Caddick ended its second year in the Midlands with a target pipeline of £1bn and a forward order book of £300m. The contractor’s project portfolio currently includes Cole Waterhouse’s £43m flagship regeneration development, Upper Trinity Street in Digbeth, and the neighbouring Stone Yard project on behalf of Moda Living and Aviva Capital.
With projects spanning the industrial, commercial and residential sectors, Caddick is also on site with a £28m urban logistics scheme at Foundry Business Park in Wolverhampton. Recent appointments also include Delamere Health’s £20m addiction clinic on the site of the former Nottinghamshire Fire & Rescue HQ in Bestwood.
Ray O’Sullivan, Regional Managing Director at Caddick Construction Midlands, commented: "We have seen tremendous growth in our project portfolio and in the talented team we’ve formed over the last two years. The new space is vital for facilitating the next phase of our expansion, creating a dynamic and collaborative environment to strengthen our growing team and continue providing exceptional service and delivery for our clients. It will also enable us to fulfill our commitment to supporting the local economy and communities.”
