Caddick Construction Group has been granted Gold accredited membership of The 5% Club’s Employer Audit Scheme for a second year running, representing the business’ continued drive to support its people and the industry workforce.
The accreditation builds on Caddick’s Gold member status in 2024, which acknowledged the business’ commitment to empowering employees through apprenticeships, graduate schemes and sponsored student placements.
Since its inaugural accreditation, Caddick has deepened this commitment with the recruitment of a further 10 degree apprenticeships, five of which have also undertaken T Level qualifications with the business.
Caddick’s investment in the workforce forms part of the wider Group’s ESG Strategy, Places for Life, which in its last year saw the Caddick group of businesses deliver over 14,000 hours of employee training and support 210 apprentices.
Achieving Gold status acknowledges Caddick’s continued efforts to offer hands-on learning, create pathways for professional growth and equip its people with the skills and confidence they need to thrive.
As part of The 5% Club, the Yorkshire headquartered business stands alongside over 1,000 employers dedicated to driving positive change. The organisation represents a powerful movement of companies working together to make workplace training more inclusive, diverse and accessible.
Paul Dodsworth, Managing Director at Caddick Construction Group, commented:
“Having an apprenticeship background myself, I truly believe that they, and other forms of work-based learning, are vital to building both individual careers and the future of our industry. We work hard to create an inclusive environment where learning and growth are always the priority, and this award is a testament to our shared effort. We’ll continue to strengthen our commitment to skills development and ensure that opportunities in construction are accessible and rewarding, and that we play our part in the future success of our industry.” Paul Dodsworth, Managing Director at Caddick Construction Group
