Caddick Secures Place On £15bn DfE Framework

Caddick Construction has been appointed by the Department for Education’s (DfE) to four lots of the new £15bn Construction Framework 2025, marking the first time the contractor has held a role in the school rebuilding programme.

Securing a place on the next-generation framework, Caddick was successful in four lots for projects valued from £4.4m to £12m in the North East, Yorkshire and the Humber, East Midlands, and North West and West Midlands.

The new Construction Framework 2025 marks the first time Caddick has taken a place on the framework, adding to the contractor’s increasing presence on leading procurement routes as it targets a growing pipeline of public sector projects.

Replacing the previous Construction Framework 2021, the new iteration of the DfE’s school rebuilding programme will enable procurement of new build projects and refurbished works, with an emphasis on sustainability and the application of modern methods of construction.

Projects delivered by Caddick will include new-build primary schools, small secondary expansions, additional classroom blocks, SEND facilities, refurbishments and remodelling.

“Being appointed to the Department for Education’s Construction Framework 2025 is a fantastic milestone for us. It’s the first time Caddick has been included on this framework, but we bring a long and proven track record of successful public sector project delivery across the North and Midlands.

“Our teams are specialists in delivering high quality and sustainable projects on time while prioritising innovation and value for money, and we’re looking forward to bringing that expertise to the DfE school building programme. This appointment also strengthens the balance of our project portfolio across both the private and public sectors, supporting sustainable growth for the business in the years ahead.” Paul Dodsworth, Group Managing Director of Caddick Construction Group
