Caddick Completes Haribo Factory Expansion

Caddick Construction has completed the new extension to HARIBO UK’s production and distribution facility in Castleford, West Yorkshire, enabling the confectionary company to meet the growing demand for its much-loved treats in the UK into the future.

The 13-hectare site, which sits adjacent to the existing HARIBO factory at Whitwood Common Lane, will house increased volumes of raw materials, packaging and the finished product to meet rising demand.

Throughout the duration of the 94,000 sq ft warehouse project, Caddick worked closely with its local supply chain partners and HARIBO to deliver the works, while the adjacent factory remained operational, ensuring no disruption to production.

The new facility builds on Caddick’s manufacturing portfolio in the region, which includes the completion of YARA International’s new flagship manufacturing development at Ozone Business Park in Howden and the delivery of Siemens Mobility’s new Bogie Assembly and Service Centre in Goole.
