Wolverhampton Logistics Hub Reaches New Heights As Caddick Tops Out

Caddick is celebrating a significant milestone in the delivery of a 100,000 sq. ft distribution warehouse at Vernon Park, with the steel frame structure now complete and office fit-out due to commence.

Marking Caddick’s first logistics development delivered in the Midlands, Vernon Park has seen the regional contractor deliver the base-build for a two-storey industrial unit located at Junction 1 of the M54.

Once complete early next year, the scheme will accommodate manufacturing, storage and distribution facilities for Caddick’s valued client, Staffordshire County Council.

Building work comprises the creation of loading docks, dock leveller equipment, fire escape staircases, lifts and ancillary spaces. Additional features also include heating comfort cooling, domestic hot and cold-water services, electrical installations, fire alarms, and general and emergency lighting.

Ray O’Sullivan, Regional Managing Director of Caddick Construction Midlands, commented: “As we continue to build relationships and grow our portfolio of developments in the newly established Midlands business, taking a step back to celebrate this milestone at Vernon Park gives us opportunity to reflect on the brilliant work Caddick is doing in the region already.

“It’s thanks to our dedicated team and high-quality supply chain that we are able to deliver Vernon Park to programme for our valued client, Staffordshire County Council, and we look forward to seeing this build come to life in the coming months."
