Caddick completed the design and build contract for a new flagship BMW and MINI car showroom in Handforth Dean, Cheshire for client Halliwell Jones.

This project saw the construction of a 61,494sq.ft, three storey car dealership which includes workshops, bodyshops, employee offices, car parking, showrooms and display areas.

The scope also included the creation of access to the new development and associated landscaping and works. The new facility will provide customers across the North West with an enhanced car showroom and service suite to buy, part-exchange and maintain their MINI and BMW vehicles.

Sustainability and Community Focus

The development acheived a BREEAM Very Good rating and throughout construction, we teamed up with BMW to deliver its Cars of the Future workshop for Year 4 students at St Benedict’s Primary School in Handforth.

Head of Business at Halliwell Jones, Andrew Connor also taught pupils about the evolution of cars, and how sustainable vehicle design, aerodynamics and fuel choice will all play a part in the students’ first cars.
