Farington Park

Sustainability was a core focus at Farington Park, with the project achieving a BREEAM Excellent rating. We incorporated a wide range of environmental features, including rainwater harvesting systems, EV charging points and energy-efficient LED lighting. We also achieved a 20% Biodiversity Net Gain, which saw our team de-culvert a river to create wetland habitats while planting over 1,500 native trees and installing bird and bat boxes, all of which supports local wildlife. The project also included a £500,000 investment to complete a section of the Leyland Loop cycleway.

In addition to the base build, our role at Farington Park also included the fit-out for Victorian Plumbing’s new national distribution centre, enabling the retailer to enhance its operational efficiency and meet growing demand. Delivered to a bespoke specification, our fit-out of the high-bay facility included extensive office space, mechanical and electrical installations, warehouse lighting, large scale air handling units, dock levelers, smoke alarm systems, integrated sprinkler systems, welfare facilities and a two-storey mezzanine. Our ability to coordinate the fit-out alongside the base build ensured a smooth and accelerated transition for Victorian Plumbing.
