Caddick Construction successfully delivered Phase 1 of the new development at Croft Retail Park, located off the A41 in Bromborough.

Funded by a £5.2million loan from Merseyside Pension Fund, the project created over 85 new local employment opportunities and established a prominent new commercial presence on the Wirral. On completion, the development provided modern, flexible industrial units ready for occupation, enhancing the park’s commercial offering and supporting the local economy.

High Quality Space

The design and construction of 38,988 sq.ft high quality industrial space

Phase 1 comprised two industrial facilities. Unit 1 was a standalone 24,002 sq. ft single-span portal steel-framed building, complete with fitted mezzanines and internal walls. Unit 2 measured 14,986 sq. ft and was subdivided into four smaller single-span portal steel-framed units. Both buildings were constructed on in-situ reinforced concrete pad foundations.

The external façades featured high-quality built-up metal cladding systems, curtain walling, and integrated vehicle and personnel doors. External works included hard standings, car parking, landscaping, main services, drainage, newly adopted access roads and a new substation, ensuring the development was fully operational on completion.
