Caddick Construction delivered a new residential development for The Guinness Partnership on the former Cherry Tree Court site in Salford.
The project replaced a demolished 15-storey tower block with a high-quality, mixed-height apartment building ranging from 4 to 8 storeys. The scheme comprises 63 affordable homes - 47 one-bedroom, 14 two-bedroom, and 2 wheelchair-accessible units - funded by Homes England. Completed to a high standard, the development provides 100% affordable housing, enhancing local housing provision and contributing to the regeneration of the area.
The contemporary new-build features landscaped communal gardens, 25 car parking spaces (including two disabled bays), and a 30-space cycle store with charging points for three mobility scooters. External works also included new service roads, drainage, and supporting infrastructure. Designed for long-term sustainability and community benefit, Cherry Tree Court offers high-quality, energy-efficient homes in a well-connected Salford location.

Due to the strength of our working relationship with Caddick at Kiwi Street, we are currently
working with them under a PCSA to look at another development of 131 homes (mix of
social and affordable rent) elsewhere in Greater Manchester.
